SEEKING THE HIGHER LOVE

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL.
Many of us are looking forward to new beginnings in the New Year of 2022. In light of the many issues that the Human Race has been facing the last 2 years, there is talk of hope about healing in every area of our lives and across the planet. The anticipation of new beginnings brings to mind the lyrics of Steve Windwood’s song: Higher Love. These lyrics reflect the hope and commitment that millions have today as we build the world that we dream of.

Where’s that higher love I keep thinking of?
“Look inside your heart and I”ll look inside mine.” There is a Higher Love inside all of us. So many people know this truth, embody this truth, and live this truth. We have to step up to be the ones to consciously connect with it in our own hearts so that we can connect with others in the same way. Isn’t that the idea? To feel our connection with each other? To recognize that we are in each other’s village? To share our lives because we are here together? To realize we come from the same place? Don’t be blind to what is in front of you. Open your eyes and heart to see your human family.
There’s only One Family. The Family of Man. Created by God to live and experience ourselves, each other and our beautiful Mother Earth. KNOW and remember that you can access and BE this Higher Love during this extremely turbulent and chaotic time in our history. We each need to trust that we can impact what’s going on around us in positive ways more than it impacts us.
A wise man once said, If you could remove the mask from others, you would be surprised at how dear they are to you. I believe that millions of people already see this truth and they continually choose the Higher Love to express in their daily lives.
The choice is ours. Every time we are at a crossroads that calls for us to add our energy to a situation, we have a choice to be that Higher Love. We have a choice to be part of the solution and not the problem. Transform your situations. Generate love, understanding, and patience in what you face. Don’t allow your ego mind to react with the energies of disharmony, anger, and strife. We are Ambassadors of Love and Light when we partner with God in our hearts and we need to remember that . . . when we get emotional and forget to be conscious about choosing the Higher Way.
Choosing to Be and to Express this Higher Love will change the situation. Every time. When you change the dynamic of the situation you face, you are doing God’s work. You are co-creating Peace on Earth just by choosing the Higher Way. The Power there is undeniable. Every moment of every day, we can be the conduits of these Expressions of Higher Love. It is the healing medicine our world needs today because our hearts are yearning for that connection that we deeply know is real. Our hearts are yearning for the “Higher Love we’ve been thinking of.” It’s the connection and feeling that feeds our souls wherever we go.
God actually IS that vibration of Higher Love that we are thinking of, that we are dreaming of, and that many, many people are already living. Understand the Power of this Love inside you. It is there to optimize the quality of your life and the life of your Human Family as you connect with it, embody it, and express it.
How good do you feel when a complete stranger stops what he is doing to offer you a hand, a smile, or a kind word? Or when you have a light-hearted conversation while standing in line somewhere? It leaves you feeling good and happy. Each time this happens, it is because you and others chose to express the Higher Love in that moment . . . to reach out and connect. Loving reassurance in moments like these gives us hope that we will all embody this Higher Love one day so that we can live how we were meant to live in this journey called Humanity and in this journey called Life. That Higher Love can only come from the heart. And it is Your First Nature.

It’s a beautiful thing to be in this life and to see, feel, and experience the presence of God everywhere. This Higher Love waits for us to channel it into our daily lives to bless you, your loved ones, and the whole planet. We are ALL connected. So what each of us does, impacts the whole collective of humanity. I believe that this Vibration of Love that we all want to embrace in our world is growing. People are beginning to see the True Value in themselves and their human family. So while we “wait for it,” let’s “sing our song” and choose Higher Love in every moment. We are the People We’ve Been Waiting For.
