Who is Flower Diamond
She is but a speck of knowledge
Coming forth from a Divine reservoir
She is pure ink from the time she was born
1968 crumpled and torn she came forth
Her script written
Challenges, histories, childhood disabilities
She moved her body like a pen
Sometimes full, sometimes empty
Left New York
Left New Mexico
Left Pennsylvania
Left Hawai’i
Landed in California
War torn but smiling
Moving on she found her voice
Was not in her mouth
But in her heart, her soul
She became whole to tell a story
For anyone listening
Is anyone listening
